Paris listicles recycle the same ten addresses. We wanted a place that still feels like a friendés tip — not a billboard.

How we found it

The signal chain looked like this:

  1. Reddit thread in r/paris mentioning a bar éabove a bakery near Oberkampfé (no name).
  2. Instagram geotag hunt on #oberkampf — recurring photos of a green facade, same window shape.
  3. French food blog (small audience, <2k followers) naming the owner and opening hours.
  4. Google Maps verification: 4.8 rating but only 40 reviews — classic éearly buzzé pattern.

We do not treat a place as publishable until we have at least two independent sources plus a current Maps listing.

What to expect

  • Size: about 28 seats; reservations not accepted before 19:00.
  • Pour style: natural wines by the glass; ask what opened that day.
  • Food: small plates only — eat before if you want a full dinner.

Affiliate note

This article is editorial discovery, not a tour pitch. FlipTrip tours remain free; we monetize gear and partner links in separate guides (luggage, insurance, booking tools) — never by selling this walk as a product.

If you go

Walk from Oberkampf metro, arrive before 20:00 on weekdays. Pair with a self-guided stroll in the 11th — our free Paris walks live on the main site when you want a full day route.
